Hosanna Lutheran Church, serving north Houston, Spring and The Woodlands, Texas, is a half mile south of FM 1960 on Ella Boulevard, across from Westfield High School.

Give blood quarterly
Knit prayer shawls for those in health care facilities
Provide scholarships for orphans in Africa attending secondary school.
Provide scholarships for youth attending colleges and universities

History of Hosanna Lutheran Church
Hosanna Lutheran Church is a member of the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
Hosanna started in 1976 using the Bammel Elementary School facilities and is now located across the street from Westfield High School on Ella Blvd. in north Houston.
At its 25th anniversary in 2001 Hosanna expanded its facilities to include education, music and office areas. In 2007 a new playground area was installed.
Men of Hosanna
- Fun, fellowship and service projects for the church and community. Don't have to be a member of Hosanna. Activities include: golf outings, packing of Seafarer's Boxes, annual men's breakfast and more. See the Men's Newsletter for information on activities.
- Hosanna Women of the ELCA
- The Women of Hosanna commit themselves to grow in faith, affirm their gifts, support one another in their callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world. Activities include: Spring Fling, Valentine Breakfast and more. See the Woman's Ministry page for more information.
- Family Life/Youth
- Hosanna nurtures faith in it’s youth and families by working in partnership with the home, the first community of faith. Youth/Family Life activities include: Easter breakfast, Mother's Day car wash, camping at Lutherhill, Habitat youth build, national and synod gatherings, Super Bowl hot wings fundraiser, mission of the month, mission trips, confirmation, vacation Bible school and more. For twenty some years we have continued our life’s journey. Ron and I have traveled; three of our children are married. We have two grandchildren. Hosanna continues to be our church home, where we worship, fellowship and are blessed to serve the community through Hosanna’s many outreach opportunities.
