Tips for "Seeker" Friendly Websites

Eliminating insider language

Most church websites are designed entirely for members, or unwittingly exclude non-Christians because of their choice of language and content.

Avoid: born again, salvation, saved, sinner, new birth, Savior, justification, Holy Spirit, testimony, evangelical, assurance, redeemed, redemption, saved, mission, outreach, repentance, witness, confess, found the Lord, repent, confess.

Insider language to avoid:
