The Process of Great Church Web Design
According to Wikipedia, web design is:
"A process of conceptualization, planning, modeling and execution of
electronic media delivery via internet in the form of markup language
suitable for interpretation by a Web browser and display as Graphical User
Interface (GUI), pronounced "gooey."
Tools needed to plan your website:
1. A brain
2. Sheet of paper
2. Pencil or Pen
Keep each of the three audiences (seekers, members, world-wide) in mind during the planning process.
LESS IS MORE! Keep the primary pages to a minimum (6 is more than enough to start with).
Two absolute musts: Home Page and Visitors Page.
Don't think about graphics, colors or photos at this stage.
Don't make everything too busy. Focus on a clean, well-organized and user-friendly layout.
Review Do's and Don'ts to make sure you didn't miss something.
